Zavalejos was born in Cádiz, Spain, with a simple idea: reading in Spanish shouldn't be scary… unless the story wants it to be.

We pick great classics of Spanish literature — legends, tales and short novels — and retell them in clear Spanish, by level, without losing what makes them special: the mystery, the emotion and the atmosphere of each story.
